In general, most of our program will be IN TOWN only, with no BAYS travel games.  The exception to that is the Grade 7/8 Girls and HS Girls age groups.  For all IN TOWN Programs, we will be building on what we offered in the Fall with the Boston Bolts soccer club by expanding our partnership with them.  Participants at all age groups will be split into groups of no more than 25 per field, in order to meet State requirements. Below is the high level break down of specific activities at each age group.

  • Kindergarten… Will remain on Saturday mornings only. Activities will alternate between dedicated clinics led by Bolts staff and jamboree style mini scrimmages within each cohort.
  • Grade 1 and 2… Activities will include a weekday clinic led by Bolts staff, and a weekend scrimmage, and could include some practices.
  • Grade 3 and 4… Will be conducted as a co-ed program for this season only. Activities will include a weekday clinic led by Bolts staff, and a weekend scrimmage, could include some practices.
  • Grade 5 and 6… Girls and Boys will be split into separate groups.  Activities will include a weekday clinic led by Bolts staff, a weekend scrimmage, and could include some practices.
  • Grade 7+ Boys… Activities will include a weekday clinic led by Bolts staff, a weekend scrimmage, and some practices.
  • Grade 7 and 8 Girls… Two teams with expanded rosters will play a regular BAYS season.  These teams will also have weekday clinic opportunities led by Bolts staff.
  • Girls HS… One team with expanded roster will play a regular BAYS season.  Activities will include a weekday practice and a weekend game.

A few major points to consider:

  1. These programs are contingent on finding enough volunteers to fill coach, assistant coach, and COVID-19 coordinator (1 per group/team required) positions. If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity, please reach out to our Risk Manager, Brian DuPont, at
  2. There is still space to sign up for our programs and we’ve waived late fees for the Spring season.
  3. We plan to conduct tryouts in June to help us prepare for a full BAYS re-entry in Fall 2021!

Please don’t hesitate to contact me directly at   with any questions about volunteer opportunities and/or requirements
